About My Education Journey

I am a fifth grade ELA and Social Studies teacher in Rougon, Louisiana. I have been teaching for 7 years, and there is nothing else I'd rather be doing. Teaching was my second career because I was a Radiologic Technologist for 12 years. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, so at almost 40 years old, I went back to school and got certified to teach. I recently went back to school to get my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am enjoying my
